Be on the lookout! Registration for the 2026 Middle School Summer CTAE Exploratory program will be open on Friday, April 10th @ 9:00 am (online only). Please note that registration will close automatically when the student capacity has been reached.
The Middle School Summer Exploratory Program is open to students currently enrolled in grades 6 and 7 (entering 7th & 8th grade in the school year 2026-2027). It is a great opportunity for middle school students to explore a variety of our Career Technical & Agricultural Education programs!
Students have the opportunity to explore four programs per week. As part of the registration process, families will rank-order the CTAE programs; we will do our best to schedule students into their top-ranking programs; however, we cannot guarantee program placement. Campers enrolled in both weeks will be assigned to different shops during the second week than those attended in the first week. Schedules, groups and shop locations will be shared on the first morning of the summer program.
Dates and Prices
The Middle School Summer Exploratory Program will run July 13-16 and July 20-23 from
8:00 am to 12:00 noon. Families can register for one or both weeks. The cost of a single week is $350, and the price for both weeks is $600.
Food
Water and a light snack will be provided for your student @ 10:00 am.

2. What will classes be like?
Students will be immersed in fun, engaging activities that illustrate what students do in that particular shop. They will also explore career paths and jobs related to that field.
3. Can my student be paired with a friend?
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate this request.
4. Is there a sibling discount?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer a sibling discount.
5. Is there a bus provided?
Unfortunately, no transportation will be provided.
Dismissal
Dismissal is at 12:00 noon at the main entrance. Please be prompt when picking up your student.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations are subject to a $25.00 cancellation fee.
Essex North Shore CTAE Summer Program does not provide fee reductions for students who miss part of a session.
